TOMMY BOLIN'S WHITE STRAT WITH TELE NECK

A letter, previously only ever seen by Tommy & Karen, from the ‘THEN’ owner of Tommy's famous ‘WHITEY’ Strat with the Tele neck. BTW, this isn't the first time that Tommy was mistakenly referred to as “TOMMY BOLAND” :)

For the record, the guitar was NOT on any Zephyr album cover and Rob Cooksey was Deep Purple's manager, who was NOT the recipient of this correspondence :)

The letter and the 2 photos (in original form) will be part of Kare Bare's ‘Tommy Bolin Lives & Gives’ auction...

A HUGE thank you to Kare Bare for sharing this extremely RARE item with us.

13 YEARS LATER

Letter from Eric to Pascal S.A. (Belgium)

A lovely bit of historical correspondence (in the days when we actuallyWROTE letter, lol). Letter kindly sent to us by good friend Pascal. Obviously a few things aren't quite correct - ie Tommy didn't have native Indian blood... but all meant in good faith. It wasn't actually Tommy who wrote the letter, it was of course Karen (as per letter above)
